Hi everyone!
The Chicago Apple User Group is very proud to have Mori Katz from Apple as our keynote speaker for our October, 2009 meeting. She has presented to us before, and did an outstanding job. This time she’ll be sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge about the new OS, called Snow Leopard, and MobileMe.
Snow Leopard is Apple’s newest version of the Macintosh OS. It’s designed to save a ton of space on your hard drive, add the ability for your Mac to use 64-bit computing, it has top of the line technologies for accessibility, and will allow the Mac OS to use Microsoft Exchange Servers, and much more. This is not a feature driven release. Instead, the richness of the new OS is “under the hood”, and it is quite amazing once you see it. The new Mac OS is better, faster and easier, and this will be a front row chance to see it in action, and to learn directly from Mori about why Snow Leopard is so very cool!
In addition, she’ll be showing us
MobilMe, which allows your Mail, Calendar and Contacts to stay in sync, incredibly beautiful iPhoto galleries, a personal hard drive on the web, and much more. MobileMe is a great resource for all Mac users.
