1Password and Lion

Hi everyone,

The Chicago Apple User Group is very proud to bring David Chartier to speak about 1Password, and we’ll have Barbara Passman give us an introduction to actually using Lion.

1Password is truly amazing software. It allows you to do all of the following:

• Create unguessable passwords
• Remember and use the most secure passwords possible
• Add secure notes to documents
• Keep track of all your software licenses
• Save time with smart folders
• Sync passwords across Macs or other devices
• Fill out any forms, not just logins
• Print items from 1Password

1Password is a great tool for Mac and iOS devices when security is extremely critical. Our guest, David Chartier, will show us how to use 1Password, and to go beyond just storing passwords to using it to the fullest extent possible!

Barbara Passman will give a follow-up presentation to our July, 2010 meeting. Back in July, we got a look at what Lion was probably going to look like, and how it was going to operate. Now it’s out, and our own Barbara Passman will tell us what it’s really like to install it, use it, and what you can do to get the best out of Lion.

The logistics of the event:
