Hi everyone,
The Chicago Apple User Group is very pleased to bring Jean MacDonald of Smile Software here to Chicago. She’ll be here on Wednesday, December 7th, 2011. Our meeting will start at 7:00 pm, and go through 8:30 pm. We’ll go out to eat afterward, and everyone is invited to join us for food after the meeting. You can also win some mugs or water bottles from Smile Software at our meeting.

Smile Software makes some truly amazing software. PDFPenPro is outstanding software that allows anyone to created or edit PDF documents. It’s also possible to create a PDF from a web page, make a PDF form, make tables of contents, and much more. Another extremely popular product from Smile Software is Text Expander. This is great software that allows you to use just a few mouse clicks and/or keystrokes, and expand it to full text. For example, you can set up “YT” to expand to “Yours Truly, John Doe”. It can even be used to add HTML, the current date and time, or correctly type words with special characters.
